You are escorted to an exam room by going down the yellow brook road. Each room has been beautifully painted with a character from the movie. In the movie “no one gets to see the Wizard” but at Affiliated Foot and Ankle Center, Dr Ornstein IS the Wizard and you WILL get to see him. If he is not in then Dr Ornstein is either traveling on business or volunteering his time to many local organizations in helping others.
Only gave this doctor one star because I have to in order to leave a review. I will never go to this doctor again. Horrible customer service, the staff is nasty/rude. All they care about is money, they do not care about the actual patient and the pain they are in. Do yourself a favor and go to another doctor, a doctor who actually cares for his/her patient....as a proper doctor should.
When I make an appointment to have my calluses shaved or my toenails maintained, my first choice is always to request Cheryl. She is extremely experienced, and has been with this office for over 15 years. I appreciate her gentleness, and love that she will take the time to explain a procedure or advise a therapy for my own foot care.
When you enter the waiting room you are greeted by Wizard of Oz memorabilia and realize THIS is going to be an experience. The front office staff makes you feel more like you have stopped by to visit friends instead of to see the doctor.
I have been a patient of Affiliated Foot and Ankle in Howell for over 2 years now. This office is amazing. They diagnosed a foot problem that other doctors could not pinpoint. I have had great success with Dr Dewaters and Dr; Langley. I highly recommend this office for anyone with any foot or ankle problems.

The office is visually appealing, always clean, and tastefully decorated with Dr. Ornstein's love for The Wizard of Oz. I get a real sense of professionalism and care from all of the staff and Doctors.
I was in to see Dr. Ornstein for pain in the arches of my feet. I had seen him before and he made me the orthodics for my shoes. They were like walking on clouds. I figured that they needed to be redone as they were several years old. After waiting a very short time in the waiting room, I was taken into the exam room by one of his nurses. She took all my information and then took x-rays of my feet. It was decided that I was in need of new orthodics. I was told what the cost would be and when they would do the casting. I was very satisfied with the care that I received from this "nurse". I, unfortunately, do not know if she was truly another Dr. in the practice or one of the nurses as she never introduced herself to me. Dr. Ornstein popped in the room for a couple of minutes and then was gone. Other than those few "complaints" I found my visit to be very personable and relaxing, especially since I didn't need any injections in my feet... this time.
I am so happy to be a patient of Dr. Ornstein's and highly recommend Affiliated Foot and Ankle Center in Howell to everyone who needs quality footcare !
