More importantly, everyone is very good at what they do. Each of the staff that worked on me showed excellent attention to detail and concern for my comfort levels throughout the process, and the billing staff seamlessly handled the billing end of things while I was in the chair.
Any wait times were practically non-existent, even when we decided to move ahead on some dental work that was not part of the original plan for my visit.
Dr. A is an amazing dentist. He really cares about his patients, makes sure that they are comfortable, and walks you through everything. But unfortunately I can't say that my experience at amara has been as good as I expected. The staff is friendly, but the receptionist who usually schedules me for appointments has been very reluctant and not the most friendly when it comes to trying to accommodate my schedule. I understand they must be busy, but unfortunately, taking off work is not usually an option for me, because I don't get paid if I take off. Although, I must admit that they fit me in after much convincing that I can't take off work. I also was not too happy and also confused when a temporary crown was not put on right away after a root canal, I had to back for it, and now I have to go back for the permanent crown on another day. Everyone I know who has had a root canal has gotten a temporary the same day. And I had an impression for the crown done twice, because it was forgotten that I had had it done already on a previous day. I'm not sure how that could happen.
I'm very pleased to have been referred to this practice and enthusiastically recommend it to anyone in the Howell area.
Don't go there... the are scammers. I went there and they gave me an estimate that will be deducted from my dental insurance but after the service they asked me to pay more for what they claimed were extra charges and they did that 3 times.. the problem is they bill you for these extra charges of around $600 at a time without asking you or discussing it before. Just avoid going there and find another dentist and you will save money.

I had such a wonderful experience at Amara Dental! The girls at the front welcomed me so kindly and warm. It definitely made me comfortable considering I'm fearful of the dentist. The doctor talked and walked me through everything before further proceeding. I was presented a very thorough treatment plan and they answered all of my questions before I could even ask them anything! Literally 10 steps ahead of me at all times. It's nice to know this kind of customer service really does exist! I would highly recommend this office if you feel you deserve the best. Thank you everyone!
As soon as you walk through the doors you'll notice the office has a great atmosphere and the staff has excellent energy. The place is clean, friendly, upbeat, and welcoming.
Also when I went there I waited for around 2 hours before I saw the dentist even though I had an appointment. In addition, even though I was in pain and I could not eat they were more interested in cleaning than fixing my tooth and after two appointments I told them that I need them to fix my tooth and that I was not able to eat they wanted to schedule an appointment after 3 weeks... these people are horrible avoid them
