I just could not stand the staff! Management is great but the staff is a hit or miss. The staff at the front desk was always helpful and great, but the trainers at this gym are real assholes. The multiple encounters I've had with them have always been unwanted and unnecessary. They're rude and condescending and honestly that was what made me cancel my membership and go back to my old gym. Good equipment is nice and all but damn i missed having a gym without such an intrusive staff.
Wow what an awesome gym! Lots of equipment for anyone's needs, and a convenient location. Kyle did a wonderful job showing me around the place, he was super friendly and very informative! The place has a welcoming atmosphere to it and would be great for new gym goers or veterans.
Had an amazing experience here. Definitely recommend everybody to come to LA Fitness in Howell. Friendly environment. Mike & Tom are the best! Any problems should definitely ask to talk to them.
I wanted to love this gym so badly...it's brand new, the equipment is nice and the layout is so open and always clean. It was always a bit busy but theres enough equipment to not have to wait for a machine. Highly recommend the classes too!
Deceived by salesperson. I attended the open house where I was escorted by a salesperson. I was informed that there was a volley balley pick up games/league which was a major factor to join , as was the pool that they assured me was kid FREE. The following Monday after joining we visited the Howell location and was informed this location did not have volleyball - then we went to do laps and there as a 10 yr old boy playing in the pool unattended, no adult supervision anyway visible. There are other reasons that are more of a personal preference which is also causing me to cancel my membership but the main issue is being deceived I'd like to get a full refund - but i don't have the time to fight with them, cutting my losses
Great overall gym and place to workout the workers are super friendly only gym in town with a basketball court and swimming pool very clean overall and great workout equipment (mike is a very friendly and a great sales representative)
