The Goddard School in Howell, Miss Carol, and the entire Goddard Staff have become our second family over the last 4 years with our 2 kids. Both of our kids have gone through the program since they were babies - we were truly sad when our daughter graduated from Pre-K this year but are so thankful that we have a few more years with our son :o) Each day that I drop them off I have full confidence that they will be very well taken care of and loved on by the teachers. They are constantly learning and socializing while there and they LOVE going everyday - makes it so much easier to leave them each day. Our daughter is very well prepared to start Kindergarten this year and I'm sure she will continue to grow and learn in the classroom, thanks to the help, guidance, and dedication of Miss Danielle and Miss Ashley this last year. Can't say enough good things about our experiences there and would recommend The Goddard School to anyone and everyone looking for a day care for their families to call a second home - because that's exactly what it has become for us!
Our son was watched by a family member from the day he turned three months old until we signed him up at Goddard in Howell at 2 1/2. Hardest decision we made to take him away from family, but the best decision! He has grown so much over the past 4 months! He comes home singing, speaking Spanish, says he loves his teachers and talks about his "friends". We couldn't be happier! Hands down we would recommend this school to anyone! The staff, the owner - all 5 stars.. and that's only because they don't offer 10 star rating!!!
From the moment I first walked in the door for my tour, I knew that my son (3) would thrive at this school. Prior to enrolling in Goddard, my son had been to two other preschools. I would have to drag him to school every morning crying, and every night, he would get anxious at the thought of going to school the next day. Carol, the owner; Ellen the Program Director; and his teacher, all set my mind at ease. My son has difficulty inserting himself in social situations, and the teacher is very sensitive to that need. I find that the owner and staff have a very open door policy, and I can reach out to them whenever I have a concern or question. The curriculum is second to none, and I am astonished every day at the new things my son is learning and the experiences he is having. For the first time, he is excited and happy to go to school. Thank you Goddard!!!
Our family recently moved to the area and took a lot of time looking for the right preschool for our daughter. The Goddard School was recommended to us by another family. We are so happy with our decision to send our daughter to The Goddard School in Howell! She is not even 3 years old and has made strides in her language and cognitive development in the short time she has been there. She is excited to go to school everyday and loves her teachers and all the staff. I get daily emails on her progress and photos. They even assist parents on potty training! We love this school and would highly recommend them to any family in the area!
We have had two children attend The Goddard School of Howell over the course of the past six years. We love everything about this school, especially the owner, director and staff. It is extremely evident that Carol, Ellen and all of the teachers have truly cared for, and wanted nothing but the best for our boys. Our experience has been nothing but positive. Our boys have learned so much, and grown both academically and socially throughout this program. We will be sad to move on when our youngest begins Kindergarten this fall.
