Oh my son and daughter are police officers at another township. Told me to look myself but to no avail.
That officer and department policy, are both garbage.
The officer said they were looking for the car that hit mine. Don't think so since 6 hours later another Young officer rang my door bell to tell me my cars were hit.
I never write reviews but in this case I just couldn’t help expressing my opinion. As a mother going through delivery I can only think the delight the couple first felt having the police pull them over, expecting help. Then the shock and betrayal when the officer offered no help. Calling an ambulance was just a stupid idea. They just needed to go to the hospital. Clearly this officer isn’t a dad. He sounded just heartless. And did he ask a women in labor to “wait”? Certainly he owes them and the community an apology. He should be embarrassed. Police Department should mend that bridge with a kind visit and a HUGE bouquet of flowers. This isn’t what I expect out of our protectors. I am a huge supporter of our forces. The kind who gets tears in my eyes and worries for their safety. I realize this was only one insensitive man, but this is not what I would have expected. Howell Township Police Drpartment only looks ridiculous if they don’t own this. Please don’t deny it was Wrong. Make this right. Besides... it’s the holidays!
