BJ's Wholesale is a membership club that sells a variety of items, in bulk, for excellent prices. They have popular name brand items and their own product line. The prices and size of items are better and smaller than Sam's Club. BJ's has excellent prices on cold cuts (cut while you wait). Today, the price of oven roasted turkey was $6.00 for one lb. and the price of roast beef was $7.00 for one lb. (Wellsley Farms). Both cuts tasted great and the roast beef was lean and tender. No liquor, wine or beer is sold here. After all it is New Jersey and the state legislature and licensing agency issue liquor licenses in this state as if prohibition was repealed yesterday. All in all, though, you will have a nice shopping experience and save some money too.
Store manager is usually there and very helpful. I purchased a shirt and it needed a supervisor. The supervisor came to scan and proceeded to place my $25 shirt in chicken goo. I think there should be a better way. She told me to go to another line next time.
Would give 0 stars if I could. The people at the gas station in particular were completely rude and nasty.
The deli counter staff are great and so are the bakery staff. Very accommodating and friendly. You cannot beat the prices in the deli dept. and the food is always fresh.
The layout is simple. It can be frustrating how the inventory change somewhat frquently. It is usually a good shopping expirience.
