Well.....where do I begin, the first 2 years were a pleasure this year .....an indescribable nightmare. Not only were my tax information sent first week in Feb, they contacted me Feb 8th and said they were done. Well after over a month of still waiting and checking the status of our returns ( no info was available). We finally and I mean finally got in contact and was told of the situation they were in we now had to wait for paper returns to arrive to sign and send in. So it's April 13th and my status still shows no info available. Could be some time in June at this rate. I wouldn't even consider recommending this business or Scott to anyone including my worst enemy. This experience has been a nightmare and they are unprofessional at best in the way they're handling it. The amount of money I paid for my returns and have to go through this headache is inexcusable. They have removed myself and others from their Facebook page, blocked from sending them messages as well. Definitely not the way a professional business should be handling and dealing with clients.
Absolutely worse experience I've ever had in my life in having taxes prepared!!! I submitted all my docs to Scott back in April, and here I am July 18, and NOTHING!!! I've been lucky enough to actually reach his secretary a few times and every time offing an excuse and she will be putting my return on top of his desk. Also told she will have Scott call me. Blown off evey time!!!! At this point I still have no idea if he ACUALLY filed an extension like his secretary told me he did? Wondering if my personal information is even secure? DO NOT use this service!!! You will get ZERO follow thru.. ZERO Communication... and nothing but stress in dealing with them!!!
I showed up 5 mins late for my appointment in feb so he said he wouldn’t see me but than assured me that he filed for an extension! I called everyday from July-August finally August 31st he supposedly filed my taxes! I haven’t heard from him or received my refund and it’s going on 3 months! I ended up mailing whatever he gave me to the IRS but GOD only knows if they will accept it!!!
Completely awful! No answer to calls or email. Said he field an amended return for my son and didn't! Said he filed an extension for us and didn't! Please don't go to MVP Financial or Scott! I wouldn't even give him one star, but you have to in order to post!
Looks like Scott is in big trouble with the IRS. We were told he filed an extension for us. When I received a bill from the IRS for $1500 for not filing I was outraged - tried to contact them and then read online that he has been arrested for swindling 1$.8 Million from his clients.
